Note from the photographer:
The boudoir gallery is limited due to the privacy of my clients. I only show what is allowed by each individual client and keep it limited out of respect for my clients and the privacy of the type of session. If you have an interest in a boudoir session, some clients allow me to share their gallery with potential new clients, but that is done in a pre-session consultation rather than online. Thank you for your understanding of the personal nature of the boudoir session and the limitations of the gallery.
Dani Kallsen with DK Photography is an amazing photographer. I received boudoir pictures taken by her and her assistant Dessie. When I had made the decision to have boudoir pictures done, Dani had me set up a secret board on Pinterest with photo ideas and poses I liked and would want to use. Leading up to the day of the photos, Dani was in contact with me regularly making sure I didn't have questions or concerns. When I voiced concerns, she would tell me exactly what she would do to make sure those concerns didn't exist the day of the photo session. The day I was to arrive at the studio, she sent me a reminder message of things "not to forget" and sure enough, I had forgotten a few of those things. Not to worry, she had a plan. Upon arriving at the studio, Dani and Dessie gave me the option to enjoy a glass of wine to help me become comfortable, and it helped a tremendous amount. Something that hadn't crossed my mind, Dani had thought of. Throughout the session, Dani would have me look at the photos that I pinned on Pinterest to study them and try my best in the poses. If I wasn't able to get the pose right, Dani didn't hesitate in showing me what I needed to do. I did not want to see the actual photos until she sent them to me which was very scary since it was a one and only opportunity while I was visiting Iowa for only a couple days. When I received the photos, I cried because they turned out so beautiful, classy, and she exceeded every expectation I had. I am happy to be able to have her as my wedding photographer especially after what she showed me she could do. She is worth so much more money than what she charges, but that tells me you don't have to break the bank to get professional photos. There will be another review to follow after the wedding in September. Dani with DK Photography will be my photographer for all events going forward.
